Spiderman Far from Home the is the 3rd Spiderman 2 in less than 20 years and acts as an epilogue to the MCU's Infinity Saga. Far from home picks up right off of Endgame where Peter and his classmates are back from the decimation aka the snap which now being called the blip and we see how they are dealing with basically jumping 5 years into the future. The story mainly concerns Peter as he adjusts to Iron Man's death and pressure of potentially taking his mantle as a major super hero. He and his classmates end up on a school trip where they encounter Mysterio who is usually a villain in the comic books but in this movie that’s spoilers. Anyway Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio is really good, initially being a bit of a Tony Stark Substitute for Peter parker and then well you just have to see the rest of the movie. Overall I though the movie was really good, Mysterio is really good and Peters classmates are really good as well. If there are any major issues with the film aside from the terrible movie posters it's that there is a bit of jank, Far from home takes place in Europe with the locations courtesy of whatever tax credits and tourism boards could offer the movie. Not necessarily a bad thing but some of the locations end up being a bit random. Overall though the movie is good, a big improvement over Homecoming (which I liked) with some amazing Mysterio scenes and the end credits scenes really go there.

Spoiler Thoughts and Speculation

The main posters for the movie somehow ended up worse than homecoming.

JK Simmons being back kind of confirms the multiverse to me, I doubt it will ever be used but its J.Jonah Jameson being played by the same person in 2 different universes. Sounds like the multiverse to me.

There had been hints that the MCU was going to a lot more into space in phase 4 and this pretty much confirms it with a Captain Marvel sequel likely being closer in the pipeline that initially expected.

The Skurlls being good guys has already payed dividends in Far From Home and could pay off more in MCU Spiderman 3, theoretically a Skrull could play Peter to try convince people that he is not Spiderman.

Miles Morales is may be closer than expected. If MCU Spiderman 3 caps of the MCU Spiderman Trilogy than Miles Morales may be on the table within the decade. Peter could move to a Stark type role with a more public persona potentially making room for another small scale friendly neighborhood Spiderman.
